Far From Mythical
She was broken.
You couldn’t count the cracks in her heart.
The finest cracks more painful than a gunshot.
She shed tears more healing than any cure created by man.
Yet her body was numb, tired and on fire all at the same time.
She was like a Phoenix, lighting up the sky with beautiful passion.
Anger arose in her and she burned brighter and hotter than ever.
Though with the anger came pain, drowning her flames.
In despair she turned to ash.
Little did she know that from the ashes she would arise more magnificent than before.
A creature unlike any other.
A beauty and wonder in her own right.
It wouldn’t matter how many times she incinerated, for she would always arise more stronger and beautiful than before.
